Supporting diversity
Diversity is used to describe variation between people in terms of their gender identity, ability, age, physical characteristics, culture, religion or spirituality, migrant or refugee background, language, values, sexual orientation, education, socio-economic background and/or life experiences.

Victorian councils may have strategic plans or strategies guiding decision making and policies to ensure all local residents are reflected in their community.
